MIRACLE DELIVERANCE TEMPLE OF CHRIST

Currently located at 3851 Meadowview Street in Montgomery

On April 26, 1992, Aaron and Margaret Motley had a vision to start a new ministry in Montgomery. After teaching a college Bible study at Auburn University at Montgomery for nearly ten years and heading a youth ministry at a Montgomery based housing project for eight years, Pastor and Sister Motley launched Miracle Deliverance Temple of Christ for the purpose of facilitating a ministry to people from all walks of life. The first service was held at 3402 Doris Circle Montgomery.

On the same date, WXVI radio aired the first broadcast of “Day of Deliverance”. The fifteen-minute teaching segment, sponsored by Miracle Deliverance aired for 23 years each Sunday morning at eight o’clock. From then on, Pastor Motley proclaims a “Day of Deliverance” to all who will hear and obey the Word of God. Day of Deliverance TV launched in 2016 on WBIH channel 29 and streaming worldwide on YouTube and on EFN Eternal Friends Network.

The ministry produced a number of outreaches since that time, including, Operation Be a Miracle, which is designed as an emergency aid to the needy. The NBA (Newborn Athletes) mentoring program for “at risk teenagers,” The Open Doors “jail ministry, The Harvest Time Jubilee racial and church reconciliation conference and a number of other initiatives to support the many needs in our communities.

The ministry acquired 11 acres of land in 2015 to build the new Miracle Center to expand the work that the Lord assigned. Sister Margaret Motley went home to the Lord on April 7, 2017. Pastor Motley married Sister Arlesia Harris Motley in 2018. The Two of them continue to lead the congregation focusing on the ministries original vision. On April 21, 2024, Dr. Aaron Motley was consecrated to the office of Bishop, and he appointed Elder Eddie Sanford to succeed him as the Pastor of Miracle Deliverance Temple of Christ.

Miracle Deliverance Temple of Christ is not just a church, it is a family. We are a family of believers being trained to reach souls and help the needy. We endeavor to come along side other ministries in the "River Region" to improve the lives of those whom the Lord sends our way.
